Indian Institute of Technology Load Cell Lecture – The first video found is from a lecture series on Industrial Instrumentation by Prof.Alok Barua, Department of Electrical Engineering,IIT Kharagpur. The video clip includes presenter and explanatory slides including the wheatstone bridge method of converting a change in resistance to an output voltage.

 

USB Minitaure Load Cell – This clip is more of an advert for a company and their new product which is a load cell with an output to usb with several marketplaces in mind including Nanotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Medical manufacturers etc.

 

TSW Load Cell Pedals, Trials HD.. - This video shows an interesting use of load cells by integrating them into a race gaming experience powered by an Xbox in full High Definition. The load cells are added to the foot pedals of the racing car simulator to show how well they perform.

 

Bench Test of Load Cell – This very short clip shows an experiment where a “roll your own” amplifier is connectd to a 20kg load cell to ascertain if a recordable signal can be measured. The intent is for future static load tests on rocket motors!

 

ASP Forumla Load Cell at Iracing.com Solstice at Limerock – Another example of where a load cell is used in a racing car simulator. This video shows screen in screen footage of the race and the Asp foot pedals with load cells for braking.
