This digital_load_cell technology has been applied to our complete range of weighing systems. The Eilersen weighing systems with digital_load_cell are developed and produced in our facilities in Denmark and Switzer­land with extensive use of subcontractors. The Eilersen capacitive technology is based on an accurate and stable thick-film sensor, which is non-contacting and therefore totally unaffected by overloads, shocks and welding voltages. The force dependent parameter of the thick-film sensor is directly converted to digital_load_cell by a patented ASIC to a coded pulse signal which is transmitted through a RG58 coaxial cable to a digital load cell module where it is digitally compensated, calibrated, filtered and communicated to a number of interfaces. This setup of digital_load_cell results in unsurpassed flexibility, high data rates and allows for connection to a wide range of equipment and interfaces (PLC, PC, Display, Profibus, DeviceNet, CanOpen, Modbus, RS232, RS485, 4-20 mA).
